A Week of Nothing

This week I've done absolutely nothing on The Blank Slate project.

After a couple of intense weeks involving several media interviews, late nights launching new work over at The Creative Entrepreneur, managing an upcoming trip with workshop in Chicago, planning for 2012 (and 2013!) in-person workshops...and more, plus way more socializing than I'm used to...

I've not done much more than simply think about working on this site...but not working on it.

Knowing that I have a deadline, though, of November 3o to "finish" - is good. It will keep me focused. After all these years of creating on demand, I trust that out of this brief fallow period, things have been incubating. I'm kind of hoping these new ideas reveal themselves sooner rather than later.

I've been in the studio painting, again, too. I'm aiming to wrap up the 1008 Paintings Project by the time I leave for Mexico in mid-January, 2012.

This Fall's theme is about bringing things to completion.

Which gives me pause as I consider a couple of new things I've started, and wondering if this is the right time for them? Something to dwell on over the weekend....
