I'm Tired, But the Glass is Half Full. At least.

Tonight I'm tired. I want to make popcorn and watch whatever is in the Netflix envelope. Don't remember what the movie is, as it's been sitting there a week.

My routine of writing and creative practice was interrupted today because I had jury duty and had to report at the courthouse by 9am. Of course, I could have gotten up earlier to accommodate this blip in my continuum, and I planned to.

My iPhone alarm was set. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware that iPhones don't automatically turn on and ring when you set alarm, like other cell phones. If this is a serious flaw with Apple, or I just did something wrong, I'd love to know. Tell me. I'm too tired and lazy to Google it now.

Somehow, I did wake up with barely time to make myself decent and get to the 9am call. Which is miraculous, because I stayed up the night before into the wee hours of 1, then 2am, tinkering with the site.

The rest of the day and evening was full with other new business over at The Creative Entrepreneur.

Here is why the glass is half full: I get to do work everyday that makes me so happy I think I sometimes come across as someone on happy pills. My work gives me the freedom to live anywhere there is decent Internet. I don't have to get up in the morning and put on a costume (business casual or whatever) and drive in rush hour traffic everyday. Unless I am ordered by the court.

Now it's Popcorn O'clock.

p.s. Tonight I wrangled code to make my sidebar nav to run into the text body. I'm putting this post-script here to remind me what I want to talk with you about tomorrow.

Code word: Delegate.
