Real Artists Ship

So much for Popcorn O'clock.

That's where we left off last night. But what really happened after the post is that I barely noticed an email came in from Laura Hollick of Soul Art TV mentioning that the episode I'm in was airing Friday (as in TODAY Friday) and not on Monday as scheduled.

Laura lives in Eastern Canada. I'm in California. I looked at the clock. It was after 10 pm, which meant it was already Friday in her time zone.

There's a new online program I've been working on and wanted to release when the show aired. It wasn't ready last night, as I planned to sacrifice my weekend to obsessing over every detail.

I brewed  a double-strength dandelion root tea (props to Gwen) and surrendered to the task of getting it done, asap. Because I really wanted my popcorn. Also, by now someone had already emailed from Germany telling me she loved the show. And I hadn't even seen it yet.

So. I sucked it up and got it done. So happy I did, because all day, my inbox is vibrating with love notes and class registrations.

On second thought, I don't really like how that phrasing, "my inbox is vibrating with love" sounds. But I'm just going to leave it for now.

Friday night's mantra: Real Artists Ship. That a quote from Steve Jobs that Seth Godin shares in Linchpin.

Here's a shot of Laura interviewing me. She's such a pro and asked the best interview questions.

The video is only live through this weekend before you have to pay to view it. Laura is also a savvy marketer! Watch it here >

Happy Friday, everyone. Now I don't have to obsess over sales page copy all weekend.
